Dr. Ghanshyam Purohit, Assistant Professor (Physics), Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur will present research work entitled “(e, 2e) processes on alkali and alkali earth atoms: A comparative study of inner and outer shell ionization” carried out by him, Prof. K. K. Sud and Dr. Vinod Patidar at the 6th International Conference on Atomic and Molecular Data and Their Application (ICAMDATA 2008) to be held at Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics, Beijing, China   from October 27-31, 2008.
Dr. Ghanshyam Purohit has been awarded foreign travel grant from the Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics, Beijing, National Natural Science Foundation of China and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi.

First leg of SPSU Inter House Sports activities completed on October 05, 2008 which figures various sports as Cricket and Badminton. Badminton event was organized in five categories as Badminton Boys Singles, Girls Singles, Boys Doubles, Girls Doubles and Mixed Doubles. In mentioned events, all the houses participated. Second leg of Inter House Sports activities which figure sports as Football, Vollyball and Table Tennis will begin from October 25, 2008 and will be over by November 09, 2008.

Following are the details of all the matches conducted during the first leg of Inter House Sports activities - 2008:

SPSU INTER HOUSE LITERARY ACTIVITY 2008

The inter house speech competition was conducted on 13th September 2008. The topic of the speech competition: The Beijing Olympic 2008.  Eight students, two from each house participated in the event. The names of the participants are as follows:
