About Udaipur

The city of Udaipur, founded in 1568, by Maharana Udai Singh II, is set in a beautiful valley in the southern most part of Rajasthan. Mountains and lakes give the perfect frame to the city and its many palaces.

For many of years people have travelled here for pleasure and business which has given the city its charming yet modern atmosphere. Trawl the narrow alleys of old Udaipur in the noon; relax with an iced coffee or a shake along with snacks the metropolitan way in the evening. It is no wonder that Udaipur has become one of India’s first tourist destinations.

About 5.5 lacs (550 000) people call this charming place their home. You will find all the modern facilities wanted and all the flavors from north to south as well from the international kitchen. For shopping you will find vibrant markets side by side modern air-conditioned shopping complexes.

The city is well connected to all major cities by bus, train and air. The airport is located just a few minutes away from the campus itself
